Chelsea transfer round-up: Callum Hudson-Odoi hands Blues massive Erling Haaland blow

Chelsea are yet to make a signing this summer with Erling Haaland top of their shortlist as Thomas Tuchel eyes a striker.

The Blues are keen on bolstering their squad but they may have to let a number of players leave to balance the books.

Borussia Dortmund are ready to reject any offers for Haaland but if a bid of over £150m was to be received, it would be hard to turn down.

However, the Stamford Bridge outfit are running into trouble trying to prise the Norway international away from the Bundesliga while they may have to look for alternative targets. Latest rumors and gossips

Hudson-Odoi’s Haaland blow

Callum Hudson-Odoi has insisted he does not want to leave Chelsea for Dortmund this summer.

It comes as a blow for the Blues, who were hoping to use the forward as part of the deal to bring Haaland to west London.

Tammy Abraham is another player that has been mooted for a swap deal, along with a massive offer.

But according to Sky Sports, Hudson-Odoi is not interested in moving to the Signal Iduna Park.

The 20-year-old has a fantastic relationship with Tuchel and is prepared to fight for his spot in the team.

Olivier Giroud has bid farewell to Chelsea after completing a move to AC Milan this week.

The Serie A club have paid an initial €1m (£855,000) and the Frenchman has penned a two-year contract at the club.

The 34-year-old had become something of a cult figure at Stamford Bridge and he has penned an emotional goodbye.

He said on social media: “To all the Blues, to my teammates, to all my coaches, to the whole club, a huge thank you for these special moments.

Griezmann boost

Chelsea have been handed a boost in their hunt for a forward with Antoine Griezmann likely to leave Barcelona this summer.

The Frenchman is one of the players being offloaded by Los Cules as they look to balance the books.

They are locked in talks with Atletico Madrid over a swap deal that will see Saul Niguez move to the Nou Camp.

However, RMC Sport report that Griezmann is not happy with Barcelona discussing his future with another club without his knowing.

It could spoil a move to Atletico Madrid and that would spell good news for Chelsea in the hunt for a striker.
