The Coca-Cola Company has named Alfred Olajide as the new vice president and general manager for its Nigerian operations to make “significant changes” to its workforce to drive growth and empowerment priority for a portfolio of its strongest brands. With over 9 years of experience in the Coca-Cola system, Alfred is ready to implement the company’s “more ambitious” global strategy, having previously held various positions on the African continent, including Director of Franchise for cluster markets in the South Region – and East Africa. , Director of Revenue Growth Management in the East and Central Africa region and head of strategy for the franchise in Nigeria. Alfred spoke about his appointment as Vice President of Operations and General Manager of the Coca-Cola business in Nigeria. “These are very exciting times for the global Coca-Cola business and I look forward to setting up my own quota for a company I love so much, especially at such an exciting time. Nigeria is a huge market and I am optimistic about the growth we can achieve with our filling partners. “Alfred has a first class BA from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and an MBA from the University of Leicester, UK. His extensive experience in managing market growth, strategy and operations based on years of business consulting and consumer products will no doubt help drive the company’s growth in formulating strategy and market execution in the Coca-Cola Nigeria franchise business. He is passionate about leading with impact and empowering young talent for growth. In his spare time he enjoys running, playing soccer, tennis and spending time with his family.
