Scholarship description: Fully funded international doctoral positions in archaeo-geochemistry, 2021-2022, are open to national and international students. The scholarship enables doctoral programs in the field of archaeogeochemistry taught at Southern Cross University. The scholarship period ends until the position is filled. Graduation: Fully funded international PhD positions in Archaeo-Geochemistry (2021-2022) are available for conducting doctoral programs at Southern Cross University. Available subjects: The following subjects are available for study under this scholarship program. Scholarship Benefits: Southern Cross University offers select students fully funded scholarships. Eligible nationalities: National and international students can participate in this scholarship program. Eligibility Criterion: To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following / specified criteria: The position is open to all national and international applicants currently based in Australia. International applicants currently based overseas are welcome to apply. However, the current border restrictions imposed by the Australian government may affect your application. The successful candidate must meet the admission requirements to enroll for a full-time doctorate at Southern Cross University, including a BSc (Hons, 2nd grade or higher) or an MSc with a research component, either in the Science of Earth. , (Geo-) chemistry, environmental sciences or related fields. Ideally, candidates will have experience in geochemistry and knowledge, or have a strong interest in studying the subject of human and primate evolution. Applicants with experience with LA-CIPMS or ICPMS with multiple collectors in a different research area such as medical geochemistry or a related field are also strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience with Matlab, R or similar packages are an advantage.
