Stanford University’s Knight-Hennessy Scholars program cultivates a diverse, interdisciplinary community of new leaders around the world, guiding them to collaborate, innovate, and communicate as they prepare to meet the complex challenges facing society. Through the King Global Leadership program, researchers expand their knowledge, develop their skills, and strengthen their character as they review community experiences, workshops, meetings with leaders, domestic and global study trips, and opportunities for personal development. Knight-Hennessy researchers cover all 7 Stanford schools. Knight-Hennessy scholars are talented individuals and are made up of an interdisciplinary community of scholars.
The program provides a platform for targeted leadership development and enables you to impact large-scale positive impact in the world.

• a grant used directly to cover tuition fees and related fees • a travel grant to cover an economy class ticket for an annual trip to Stanford and back.Knight-Hennessy researchers may also have the opportunity to receive additional resources to support academic enrichment (e.g., conference trips).

Each prospective Knight-Hennessy Scholar must be a newly enrolled student in the Stanford degree program, which includes, but is not limited to, DMA, JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MPP, MS, or PhD programs. No quotas by discipline or program. Please note that priority will be given to those wishing to spend at least two years at Stanford.
