Each year, Mälardalen University offers a limited number of scholarships to international students from selected non-EU / EEA and non-Swiss countries under the University of the Mälardalen Scholarship School applying for the first choice for a Master’s degree program on the Swedish Application Portal.

Gift amount / inclusion:
Scholarships cover 100% of the tuition fee for the program, as long as it follows a regular training program (at least 22.5 ECTS / semester, at least 45 ECTS / academic year). The scholarship does not cover living expenses.
Power:
Applicants who want to enter the scholarship must first apply for a master’s degree program at the University of Mälardalen at www.universityadmissions.se, with the University of Mälardalen being the preferred university. In addition, the application fee must be paid on time.
Scholarships are intended for students with special qualifications from outside the EU / EEA / Switzerland and who need to pay tuition fees. However, the scholarship is not open to students from 12 countries with which Sweden has long-term development cooperation, namely Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia. Students from these countries should instead apply for a scholarship from the Swedish School.

Applicants must first apply for a master’s degree at the University of Mälardalen via the website www.universityadmissions.se. You must fill in the scholarship form and submit the application along with other documents to applicants from Swedish universities before 1.2.2022.
