Much is at stake for the second round of the US Senate in Georgia

Two months after the November elections, Georgian voters are still up and running. The outcome will determine the US Senate’s partisan control and how the legislature deals with a new White House. Republican Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler are both on the ballot on Tuesday in the second round of voting, as neither of them received enough votes on November 3 to win. Democratic challengers Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock have raised staggering amounts of money as they attempt to capitalize on President-elect Joe Biden’s short-lived Georgia-elect Joe Biden victory over GOP President Donald Trump.
