Scholarship Description: Natural Resources Canada, in partnership with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Environment and Climate Change Canada, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Health Canada, and the Public Health Agency of Canada, seeks graduates in a natural science field from the Postdoctoral Research Program. The Postdoctoral Research Program offers researchers who have recently completed a PhD in a science field the opportunity to collaborate with research groups or executives in research laboratories and institutions of the Canadian government across Canada. The Canadian government, in turn, benefits from new and emerging talent. Federal researchers contribute to policy decisions, policies, regulations and programs by providing a strong scientific knowledge base through their research. Researchers carry out their work in accordance with ministerial mandates to achieve specific outcomes and to design, identify, formulate and implement new outcomes in program implementation to meet the ministry’s future needs.
