The US exceeded 19 million coronavirus cases on Sunday, figures from Johns Hopkins University showed, adding a million new cases in less than a week. The United States recorded 165,151 new cases in the 24 hours of 8:30 p.m. (Monday, 1:30 p.m. GMT), the Baltimore-based facility said, bringing the total to 19,107,675 cases. The gritty new milestone comes just six days after the US crossed the 18 million case threshold. The United States also has a total of 333,069 virus-related deaths.
