École Normale Supérieure (ENS) International Selection Scholarship

Brief Description:

The École Normale Supérieure (ENS) organizes an international committee each year to enable the most promising international students, either in the natural sciences or the arts and humanities, to complete a master’s degree at a university.

Host institution (s): École Normale Supérieure in Paris, France Level (s): Master’s degree in ENS (or one of ENS’s partner institutions) in science or the arts and humanities. Number of scholarships: 10 posts in science and 10 posts in arts and humanities.

Target group: International students Value / duration of the grant: EUR 1,000 monthly scholarship for 3 years and a room on an ENS campus.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be under 26 years of age in their application (must not be 26 years of age)

• Applicants must not have previously applied for an international selection.

Candidates must not have resided in France for more than 10 months during the election year (1 September to 31 August) or the previous year.

Applicants must present at least one year of postgraduate studies completed by a foreign university (outside France) during the calendar year preceding the start of the application.

• The applicant must have at least two years of bachelor’s studies at a foreign university (outside France) 1.9.

Exceptionally, the Director of ESA may accept the application of a candidate whose academic background outside France is not standard.

Instructions for use: The application form and documents must be submitted online before the 12.12.2021 (Eyebrows) or 9.12.2021 (Arts and Humanities) session for 2022.
