Global Professionals Scholarship At Swedish Institute

Scholarship description:

The Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (SISGP), a new scholarship program to replace the Swedish Institute Study Scholarships (SISS), will offer scholarships to numerous master’s programs at Swedish universities in the fall of 2022.

The goal of the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals is to develop future global leaders who participate in the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and promote positive and sustainable development in their home countries and regions.

Grant value / inclusion / duration:

The scholarship covers full tuition fees, housing expenses of SEK 10,000 per month, insurance and a one-time travel stipend of SEK 10,000-15,000 (only for scholarships living outside Sweden).

The scholarship is for full-time one- or two-year master’s programs and is awarded only to programs beginning in the fall semester.

No additional allowances are paid to family members. It also does not cover the entrance fee to the university.

Competence:

SISGP eligibility:

• You must be a citizen of a country eligible for an SI Scholarship (see above).

• You must have at least 3,000 hours of work experience by February 10, 2022 from a maximum of three organizations / companies.

• You must apply for a master’s program that is eligible for SI scholarships (see above). The university prioritizes programs in specific subject areas depending on your nationality.

• You must have proven leadership experience in your current or previous job or civil society activities.

• You must be responsible for paying tuition fees to Swedish universities, have followed the steps to enter the university and must have been admitted to one of the qualified master’s programs by 7.4.2022.
