Scholarship Description: The 2019 Frank J. Richter Scholarship from the American Association of Railway Superintendents, USA and Canada is open to all nationalities. The scholarship enables Masters and Bachelor degrees in all subjects taught at Canadian and American universities. The scholarship period ends July 1, 2019. The American Association of Railroad Superintendents (AARS) is pleased to announce the availability of annual scholarships for eligible college or university students attending an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada are enrolled. Graduation: Scholarships are available for Masters and Bachelor degrees. Subjects Available: Subjects at universities in Canada and the United States. Scholarship Benefits: Scholarship Amount – US $ 1000 scholarship funds, awarded annually, will be transferred to the grant office of each recipient institution at the start of the fall meeting and / or spring. Eligible nationalities: The scholarship is open to students of all nationalities. Eligibility Criterion: To be eligible, an applicant must: be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or PhD student at a college or accredited university at the time of application. Applicants who are registered in the transport sector will be given preference and all applicants will be considered. Demonstrate successful completion of previous year’s degree by maintaining at least a GPA of 2.75 on a scale of 1 to 4 with an “A” of 4. Earn enough credits from accredited schools in time for the fall semester to have achieved at least a second -year college or university level of enrollment.
