Description: The JDS program aims to provide Kyrgyz Republic, Myanmar, Laos, Mongolia, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Republic of Tajikistan, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Cambodia with places for higher education in Japan under Grant Assistance from the Government of Japan.
JDS staff are sent to Japanese universities to pursue a Master’s Degree. The JDS program focuses on young government officials for local communities, researchers, and others who have the ability to hold leadership positions in their careers upon their return to each country and to become leaders in their communities on the 21st. century.
