The École Normale Supérieure (ENS) Foreign Students Scholarship

The École Normale Supérieure (ENS) organizes an annual international committee to enable the most promising international students, whether in the natural sciences or the arts and humanities, to complete a master’s degree at a university.

Level (s):

Master’s degree in natural sciences or the arts and humanities from ENS (or one of ENS’s partner universities)

Number of grants:

10 posts in science and 10 posts in art and humanities.

Target group:

International students

Grant value / duration:

Monthly grant 1000 euros for 3 years and a room on an ENS campus.

Competence:

• Applicants must be under 26 years of age at the time of application (must be under 26 years of age)
Candidates must not have previously applied for international selection.
Candidates must not have resided in France for more than 10 months during the selection year (1 September to 31 August) or the previous year.
Applicants must present at least one year of undergraduate study at a foreign university (outside France) during the calendar year before the application begins.
• Applicants must have completed at least two years of bachelor’s studies at a foreign university (outside France) after September 1 of admission.
Exceptionally, the Director of ESA may accept an application from a candidate whose academic background outside France is not standard.

Instructions:

The application form and documents must be submitted online before the 12 December 2022 (Natural Sciences) or 9 December 2021 (Arts and Humanities) session.
