NSERC Postdoctoral Program, 2019

Scholarship Description: The NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowships Program, 2019, is only open to Canadian citizens. The scholarship enables postdoctoral programs in electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, astronomy, and mechanical engineering taught at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council. The scholarship period expired on October 15, 2019. Degree: Post Doc. Available subject: Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics and astronomy. Scholarships: $ 45,000 annually for two years. Eligible Nationalities: Open to Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada. Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible by the cutoff date of the year in which you apply, you must: be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada; hold or expect a doctorate in one of the research areas supported by NSERC. Additionally: You can only apply once for the PDF program. However, applicants whose first PDF application was submitted prior to the 2013 competition can submit a second application as long as they are in the admission window. You must have met all the requirements for your doctorate at least two years before the end of the year in which you are applying. For applicants with more than one doctorate, the completion date of your last doctorate will be used to determine your eligibility.
